PARKERSBURG — A casting call for the movie "White Zombie" will be 2-6 p.m. Feb. 2 at the Dils Center at 521 Market St. in downtown Parkersburg.

Directed by Little Hocking native Arthur Collins, the film is to be a re-imagining of the 1932 movie "White Zombie" starring Bela Lugosi. Unlike other current movies, "White Zombie" is based on the mystical or cursed zombies of Haiti and not the "Walking Dead" type of zombies.

"White Zombie" is the first movie to launch the Ragnbone Production Company founded by Collins. The screenplay is by Susan Sheppard. For more information, call 304-428-7978 or go to the White Zombie page on Facebook.
