The artwork formed the basis of Disney's animated movie, which is ranked among the greatest films of all time.

The display at Tatton Park Antiques and Fine Art Fair, in Cheshire, also includes an original 1933 drawing of Disney's most famous creation, Mickey Mouse.

The collection belonged to a former Disney storyboard artist, who worked at the company in the 1930s and 1940s.

The sale is being handled by David Smith of Derbyshire-based Neptune Fine Art.
