Open call casting auditions were held for the sequel of the film Hot Bath an' a Stiff Drink in Old Tucson the second weekend in September.
Filming for the movie will begin Nov. 7 in Old Tucson, Mescal and surrounding areas, according to a news release.
Casting was open to
men and women of all ages. The casting directors had
actors read for a small number of speaking roles. Specific
casting was aimed at men and woman of Chinese decent. Those who attended
were asked to dress in period 1890s costume and to take a head shot and
resume, if available.
The feature-length
film will be directed by Matthew Gratzner. Producers include Jeffery
Patterson, Shannon Gans and Gatzner as well.
