'Big Stone Gap' Seeks Real Nurses, Doctors, Technicians


BIG STONE GAP, Va. – Those making the movie "Big Stone Gap" are looking for a few local faces to feature on the silver screen.

The movie's casting company put out a casting call for extras Monday evening. Specifically, the casting directors are looking for real nurses, doctors, emergency medical technicians, coal miners and young adults ages 18-24 to play high school students.


The extra positions are paid and some may be asked to work multiple days, according to a written statement from Bill Marinella Casting.
