Casting Underway for Whit Stillman's Next Film?

Back in May the news came in, via The Hollywood Reporter, that Whit Stillman was heading to Cannes to hold meetings for his next film, a period comedy set in Britain.

Presumably those meetings were successful as The New York Post are reporting that he’s now casting for the film.

Back in May, Stillman said the following about the lead role,
"I believe this new story has the best female part of all the films I’ve made"
And he’s now added that he’s met with a British actress.

Stillman is intending to shoot in Britain or “perhaps at the Anglo-Irish great houses near Dublin”. He’s previously mentioned projects that never came to fruition which were based in the British Isles so perhaps this new film is actually something that Stillman has been keen on making for some time.
