'Sweet Cheeks' is Open for Casting

Todd Rohal will direct "Sweet Cheeks" from his own true story screenplay.
Casting directors for the upcoming feature film "Sweet Cheeks" are holding an open casting call seeking children available to work on the film in the Austin, Texas area. They will be casting two boys with great imaginations and natural wit for the lead roles in the movie. The boys should be extroverted kids who are full of ideas, comfortable around new people and environments, and who like hearing, telling, or creating stories. Kids with interesting faces and timeless, non-modern looks similar to those in "The Little Rascals" are especially encouraged to attend the open call or submit by email. No acting experience is necessary, and these are fully paid positions. Shooting will take place in August, 2013.

"Sweet Cheeks" is being directed by Todd Rohal, who has won numerous film festival awards including the Jury Special Award for Best Film for "The Guatemalan Handshake" at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2006. Rohal also wrote the screenplay for "Sweet Cheeks". His latest release was the feature film "Nature Calls" starring Johnny Knoxville. Lacey Leavitt will produce under the banner of her production company Leaky Pictures. Lacey was the 2011 Creative Producing Lab's Sheila C. Johnson fellow with the project "Sadie".
