Just yesterday, we announced
that Seth MacFarlane, Mark Wahlberg and Amanda Seyfried would be
heading to Massachusetts this summer to film 'Ted 2,' rekindling the
2012 relationship between Mark Wahlberg's character and a stuffed teddy
bear, Ted, who, after coming to life, has a penchant for dirty jokes and
strippers.
And as of today, you can be a part of the movie (albeit a small part): Boston Casting is hosting an open casting call this month
in search of extras for the film. The poster asks for "all types, 18
years old and up" to come audition to be an extra in 'Ted 2' from 10
a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 26. The poster also mentions that the
calls are open to both SAG-Aftra and non-union extras.

Hundreds of boys and their parents answered
the call Sunday afternoon — the casting call, that is — vying for a
spot in the Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan movie “Ithaca,” which will be filmed
in the Richmond area this summer.
The open casting
call for the young hopefuls ages 4 to 14 was held at Art Works in South
Richmond from 1 to 4 p.m., though staff expected it to run well into the
evening.
mbrellas and lawn chairs (and a strategically placed Blue Bunny
ice-cream truck) lined the building, wrapping around and then some
farther south on Hull Street as the afternoon sun and humidity built up.
Many waited for at least two hours before starting their auditions.
Many of the boys only knew Hanks as the voice of
Woody in Pixar’s “Toy Story,” while many of their parents recalled his
romantic comedy days with Ryan in “Sleepless in Seattle,” “You’ve Got
Mail” and “Joe Versus the Volcano.”
